According to Wikipedia; “Transhumanism is an international intellectual movement that aims to transform the human condition by developing and making widely available sophisticated technologies to greatly enhance human intellect and physiology.” Recently the idea of longevity was added and the word physiology removed. It looks to me like they are trying hard to tempt us.
Transhumanism is a class of philosophies of life that seek the continuation and acceleration of the evolution of intelligent life beyond its currently human form and human limitations by means of science and technology, guided by life-promoting principles and values.
– Max More, the CEO of Alcor life extension foundation. (1990)
The World Economic Forum (WEF), those nice people who want to inflict collectivism on the globe in which we all own nothing, they have this to say about transhumanism on their website. “Biological evolution takes place over generations. But imagine if it could be expedited beyond the incremental change envisaged by Darwin to a matter of individual experience. Such things are dreamed of by so-called “transhumanists”. Transhumanism has come to connote different things to different people, from a belief system to a cultural movement, a field of study to a technological fantasy. You can’t get a degree in transhumanism, but you can subscribe to it, invest in it, research its actors, and act on its tenets.” I suspected they would be interested in it.
Given that we haven’t even become fully rationally human yet, the idea of transhumanism seems wildly optimistic at the very least. And yet there are even ideas of going beyond human! Whatever that means? In a context where we haven’t even learned to live together in peace and freedom as humans, how can anyone take seriously the idea of transhumanism as even desirable? This is silly if it is serious, and sinister if it is what I suspect it is, and another big DUFF STEER within the Matrix rooted in being dissatisfied with being human.
Transhumanism. like Artificial Intelligence, is a ruse, a scam, and a con! Its a means to hook people into the wonderful-sounding idea or upgrading their human performance — meaning their intelligence and their physical capabilities — by merging with machines. Yeah right! In my view this is utter nonsense. What it really amounts to is having a chip inserted into your body, not for your benefit, but for easier means of controlling you.
I refer you to the post on Albert Einstein being wrong with his general theory of relativity, that no one could understand at the time, and still don’t to this day. It seems very likely that he was the original scientific duff steer. The mother of all of them. Trashing aether theory and steering civilisation down the road to mysticism in one propagandist hit! This, along with the fantasy of Artificial Intelligence, is where modern pseudo-science has got to. Plus of course attempting to alter DNA in a dupe of mass vaccination. Oh yes, and of course Elon musk and his plan to send 1000 space ships to Mars! (lol)
Personally, I’m going to focus on realising my full human potential.

The fact that this idea of transhumanism is being pushed by the WEF is a bit worrying. They probably have multiple goals, controlling people like you say might be one of them. Or perhaps they want to extend their (oh so important) lives before everyone else.
However, I believe the technology itself, whatever it will be like in the future, will be neutral in itself. It can be used for both good and bad. But I digress.
As an example, let’s take the closest thing to ‘transhumanist’ technology we have today, I believe that’s the smartphone. It’s almost like an extension of our bodies for some. And while I’m sure it can have many positive effects on us (easy access to information, maps/GPS guidance in your pocket, easy communication, …), it definitely also has negatives. I’ll just mention some negative effects that I experienced:
* No time for actual rest, or to just think of what you want. (You’re almost instinctively taking it out of your pocket at every occasion.)
* Feeds: automatic content that is delivered, and somehow curated to your liking. I feel like much of the content I am seeing is actually used to influence me somehow. It is also limited to a narrow scope. Much of what I’m interested in is just banned. The smartphone has this feed available to you at all times. This easy availability of information (since it doesn’t take any effort to find) can become almost addictive.
A tool that is supposed to set us free, actually holds us back in many occasions. When I use my phone too much, I literally feel less conscious. (This is obviously because of the way I use it.) I know for a fact that it has a similar effect on people around me.
Perhaps we can use these observations as a comparison to the future ‘transhumanist’ technology. A brain chip that is supposed to increase your productivity in many way, connects you to all sorts of robots and allows you to control technology. But in reality your monkey brain is just being distracted from the real goals it has, and mentally occupied scrolling through some feed for easy dopamine, which is now even more accessible thanks to your chip.

The brain chip thing has failed and keeps failing.
First, think of why the wef is showing us the extreme uses of the monitoring to read our thoughts to control us. It’s not a smart pr move to do, but that’s because they’re bragging about things they haven’t got working yet. Tech companies do this all the time! They call it vaporware.
Second and more effective point on why they cannot read our memories, thoughts, and complex impulses….
A good friend of mine is a phd neuroscientist and psychologist and I asked her about this neuralink stuff and it this could lead to us reading dreams (as one wef tech demo claimed to do).
She explained how both of us looking at the same thing is encoded differently in our brains, based on past experience which generates the ‘key’ of how we store data and rank the details of the impression.
There’s no way they can decode our thoughts without first running our whole body/brain “program” in order to generate this key. It’s similar to encryption, but think of yourself as the decryption key for your own brain.
Anyway, they’re grasping at straws, even having AI train on AI, aka inbreeding…
Why? Once again, they’re far far behind on what they expected, due to basic ‘laws’ of what consciousness is. It includes the body, the environment and so on… Many many variables that aren’t linear at all, thus hard to “copy”.

Many thanks for this insight Rob. It tends to add weight to the idea that they are just bluffing — for propaganda purposes. I can see the political usefulness of populations ‘believing in’ AI and transhumanism. They will certainly be more susceptible to the temptation of getting an implant if they believe it is possible.
