In March 2019, Nigel Howitt presented his talk on designing the fundamentals of health into a holistic lifestyle plan to members of the ‘Federation of Holistic Therapists’ in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, UK.
Optimal physical well being is obviously a basic and necessary requirement for a successful happy life. To understand and achieve it (as with any endeavour) we must ask root cause questions, think in principles and be prepared to question everything we think we already know. This is why I present the foundational requirements of health and well being as a series of lifestyle choices and consciously chosen habits that address the fundamentals.
If we wish to enjoy the effect that is optimal health, we must enact the appropriate causes. Therefore, we must focus on the gut and the health of our mitochondria. This, in turn, supports the immune system, cell-to-cell communication and our ability to repair and rejuvenate at the cellular level. This approach necessarily ticks all the required boxes for optimal health through a broad series of inter-relating lifestyle choices. Principles such as proper nutrition, toxicity avoidance, movement and exercise, plus adequate sleep and stress management are combined with other factors such as awareness of the need to carefully manage EMF exposure as well as powerful tools such as periodic fasting.
My approach is practical and necessarily radical. Habits are powerful allies but formidable foes. It is crucial to harness the power of habitual ways of thinking and habitual patterns of behaviour that are written into our subconscious along with associated assumptions, generalisations and premises. These must be addressed by consciously examining our values and using tools such as ‘Tapping’ to help overwrite and updated our mental operating system. Without this, no lasting change is possible.
I offer mentoring and 1-2-1 sessions, talks at Treehouse Farm, sales of RESTORE and information/guidance on how to remediate EMF exposure.
